Place Bets, Putt Balls at Swingers Club

Slot machines, dueling pianos, and sprawling bars are nothing new at Las Vegas casinos, but the new Plaza Hotel and Casino has added a little "swing" to the downtown night scene.

The grand opening of the Swingers Club was this past weekend, offering guests a nine-hole miniature golf course which wraps around the bar. Each hole is Vegas-themed with festive memorabilia and props. Plus, for a limited time, putting the course is free!

"Swingers Club will be unlike anything else in Las Vegas," said owner Anthony Cools. "This isn’t an ultra club with high priced bottle service. Our goal was to create an inviting atmosphere where people can relax and just have fun. They can enjoy the live music of dueling pianos or leading stage acts, socialize with friends over drinks, and maybe meet someone new over a few holes of mini golf. I’m confident that the unique concept of the Swingers Club will complement the fun vibe of downtown and make it a favorite destination for locals and tourists alike."

Since the course is currently under construction, yet fully functional, guests can play for free. They just have to present a driver's license as a deposit for the clubs. Once the holes are completed with all the themed furnishings in October, there will be a minimal fee to play. Although, anyone who works in the Vegas hospitality industry will always play for free!

Another unique aspect of the club is that the dueling pianos won't be perched on a stage as usual, but will be placed right on the bar floor instead. This way the piano players can encourage audience participation, including sing-alongs and personal requests, as well as mingle with customers.

The Swingers Club is open 7 days a week, from 11am-4am, with "Glow-in-the-Dark Disco Golf" available from 2am-4am!
