Saab Phoenix
As as prices continue to climb and car companies continue to focus on energy alternatives it’s not much wonder that the Geneva Motor Show featured so many hybrid cars this year. Here is a look at two of them.
The Saab Phoenix has an electronically driven rear axle paired with a 200hp 1.6 liter gas turbo engine. The combined fuel economy and CO2 emissions are expected to be about 5.0l/100km and 119g/km.
The cabin is well equipped with a Google Android operating system that seamlessly connects to the internet wirelessly once the car is started. It comes complete with a touch screen interface providing access audio, entertainment streaming, on line navigation, on board music storage and downloadable applications.
It is a sleek looking car with fluid lines and a sweet aerodynamic body style.

Infiniti Etherea
Another in a long line of Hybrids is the Infiniti Etherea. This hybrid has a supercharged 2.5 liter 4 cylinder engine, boosts 245 horsepower and is paired with an electric motor that allows for emissions free driving at low speeds and offers a boost of power when needed.
The Inifiniti Ethera is just over 14 feet in length and is a combination of several car styles. It is part coupe, part sedan, part cross over and part hatchback. To sum it up the Etherea is a five door coupe with five door practicality that does not look like a hatch back.
Infiniti hopes this will appeal to a younger buyer. "ETHEREA is about a new type of luxury for younger buyers," said Toru Saito, Corporate Vice President and leader of the Global Infiniti Business Unit. "It is not just a smaller version of a typically conservative and traditional luxury car."
