The Global Gaming Expo was held at the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas last week. Over 400 exhibitors showed off new slot machines and casino game technology while enjoying the surrounding entertainment themselves.

A new feature of G2E this year was the Fremont Street Experience which included an Elvis impersonator, a juggling comedian, an escape artist, a MegaCube Money Machine, a Callaway Golf Test Your Swing booth, and a character parade from the official Fremont Street.

Everyone was also entertained by a variety of musical acts such as ’80s band Great White and Ricky Nelson’s twin sons Matthew and Gunner Nelson. And since Vegas is like the musical tribute Taj Mahal, five tribute bands gave their best performances of The Beatles, The Police, Journey, U2, and Bon Jovi.

As for the games, the most popular premieres were music, movie, and board game themed slot machines. From Michael Jackson and Mission Impossible to Grease and Ghostbusters, fans couldn’t spin the reels fast enough. Clue and Battleship were also played profusely. Even some celebrities were on hand to help promote games.
