Pop Culture Slots, Tribute Bands at G2E

The Global Gaming Expo was held at the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas last week. Over 400 exhibitors showed off new slot machines and casino game technology while enjoying the surrounding entertainment themselves.

A new feature of G2E this year was the Fremont Street Experience which included an Elvis impersonator, a juggling comedian, an escape artist, a MegaCube Money Machine, a Callaway Golf Test Your Swing booth, and a character parade from the official Fremont Street.

Casino Patron Punched by Police [Video]

Patrick Poisson got fresh with a waitress and ended up with a broken nose and two broken ribs. He allegedly slapped the backside of a female employee while visiting the MGM Grand Casino in Detroit.

As he was being escorted out of the casino by the cops, it appears Poisson started talking back and got bopped in the nose and was knocked out cold. (Watch the surveillance video below!)

An old casino. A forgotten safe. An unsolved murder. It’s the stuff of mystery novels. And that’s exactly what makes the Bill's Casino mystery safe so intriguing. 

Located in Lake Tahoe, Bill’s Casino (formerly known as Barney’s Casino) is currently undergoing renovations. Construction workers found the three-foot-tall safe sealed in the wall, and though two locksmiths and a safe cracker gave it their best shot, no one has been able to open the mysterious black box.
