Many know her for dating George Clooney, but gamblers are hoping Elisabetta Canalis will become more famous for winning Season 13 of Dancing With The Stars! Of the 12 contestants announced earlier this week, Canalis already has a slight advantage, according to the betting odds at bodog.com.
Close behind Canalis is Carson Kressley, who was best known as the fashion expert on the TV series Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Gamblers also think Kristen Cavallari can cut a rug because she's rounding out the top three competitors favored to win. At the other end of the ballroom, Ricki Lake, Nancy Grace, and Chaz Bono are the three "stars" suspected to be least likely to win the glittery disco ball trophy.
Here are the odds for all 12 dancers.

Tomorrow is the 136th running of the Preakness Stakes at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore. Since underdog, er, underhorse Animal Kingdom won the Kentucky Derby, many are betting on him this go around. Although, it's never a sure thing.
"A couple of red flags for Animal Kingdom are that the Derby was his first race run on dirt, and he went into the Derby after a six-week layoff. Will his second venture on a dirt track go as well, and will the shorter rest period between races be a problem?" ponders OddsShark.com analyst Jack Randall.

Vegas may have just gotten better, if that’s even possible. Instead of playing the slots for coin, you can now play for an adult beverage or two. The BarBot was created by a team at the hacker collective in NYC Resistor as part of a competition hosted by the video content company VIMBY and carmaker Scion.
The group bought a retired slot machine off of Craigslist and added graphics to it with a Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas theme, thinking it would tie the concept of gambling in with drinking.

Playboy.com
Prefer boobs to basketball? In the spirit of March madness, Playboy.com is offering men a different kind of bracket this championship season: the “NC Double-D 2011 Favorite Playmate Bracket.”
Just as the traditional college basketball bracket features 64 teams, Playboy has selected 64 Playmates to compete in its bracket. The popular men’s magazine started with Miss December 2009 Crystal Harris (Hef’s current fiancé) and went back to 64 months to the Playmates of 2004. The lovely ladies go head-to-head in each round with fans deciding which Playmates move on by voting for their favorites. A simple concept, perhaps, but a highly entertaining one.

What better to close out 2010 than by betting on which celebrities will kick the bucket in 2011? At Stiffs.com, you can do just that.
It works like this: entrants list 10 celebrities they believe will die between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2011, pay a $15 entrance fee, and wait. The entrant with the most correct guesses at the end of the year wins $3,000. Second place gets $500, third place $200, fourth place $100, fifth place $50, sixth place $25, and so on. Entries for the main event listed above, the Lee Atwater Invitational Dead Pool, are due by December 31st so get to bettin'. There's also a six-month game for those too impatient to wait a full year for death pool results. It's wholesome fun for the entire family.
Right now, the top picks include Billy Graham, Fidel Castro, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Ronnie Biggs, and Seve Ballesteros.
Who do you think will meet their maker next year?

Spinning of the Dreidel has been a long held Jewish Tradition played for centuries. It is a gambling game played with a four sided top. Each side has a Hebrew letter on it. The object of the game is to guess which letter the dreidel will stop on. Children play this most often during Hanukkah. They will play for candy, nuts or anything.
Not to be stuck in the days old traditions, a group in New York City has created a tournament of dreidel play. The Major League Dreidel Tournament is held at a “Spinagogue” and begins with 120 entrants. They hold a cumulative qualifying round and then break down to 64 players in a head to head tourney, vaguely reminiscent of the NCAA brackets. Each round is set up as a Best of Three and culminates in a Best of Five championship. The winner receives a Crystal Dreidal Trophy and a year supply of chocolate coins or gelt.
